Arizona: : Thousands Comment on State Marijuana Law
By Dave Biscobing, ABC 15
PHOENIX - One month has passed since officials began seeking public comment and opinion for Arizona's new medical marijuana law and the state has received thousands of responses.
On the Department of Health Services website , a draft of the rules for medical marijuana has been posted since Dec. 17. There's also a section to submit comments, issues and ideas.
According to the department's director, Will Humble, the most popular topics include costs, fees and distance regulations.
The state will release another draft at the end of January. At that point, there will be another public comment period before a final draft is set in March.
